YOUNG DANCER PROGRAM DRESS CODE

APPAREL // YOUNG DANCER PROGRAM -

  • BALLET CLASS - leotard, leotards with skirts, and leotards with tutus are all appropriate for our youngest dancers. we suggest ballet tights, but it’s not a must. hair must be neatly up.

  • ALL OTHER DANCE CLASSES - FORM-FITTING DANCE CLOTHES. LEOTARDS, TANK TOPS, CROP TOPS, LEGGINGS OR DANCE SHORTS ARE ALL APPROPRIATE. HAIR MUST BE NEATLY UP.

SHOES // YOUNG DANER PROGRAM -

  • BALLET - PINK BALLET SHOES

  • TAP - BLACK PATENT LEATHER MARY JANE TAP SHOES

  • HIP HOP - CLEAN SNEAKERS

scheduled for a trial class? No need to pre-purchase any of the above! Come to class and wear WHATEVER YOU OWN that you can move in. when you know you are ready to enroll, then purchase what you need!

we have a “borrow Bin” oNSITE - WE HAVE various shoes in select sizes, so check in with our staff when you arrive and see if we have something that fits your dancer to borrow for the day! If WE DON’T, noT TO WORRY, Bare foot is always ok for your first day.

CORE DANCER PROGRAM DRESS CODE

APPAREL // CORE DANCER PROGRAM -

  • BALLET CLASS - LEOTARD, PINK TIGHTS, HAIR IN A BUN.

  • HIP HOP CLASS - LOOSE, BAGGY FITS. OVERSIZED PANTS, BAGGY T-SHIRTS, etc. please no tank tops, crop tops, leotards, TIGHT LEGGINGS or form-fitting dance clothes.

  • ALL OTHER DANCE CLASSES - FORM-FITTING DANCE CLOTHES. LEOTARDS, TANK TOPS, CROP TOPS, LEGGINGS OR DANCE SHORTS ARE ALL APPROPRIATE. HAIR MUST BE NEATLY UP.

SHOES // CORE DANCER PROGRAM -

  • BALLET - PINK BALLET SHOES (PREFERABLY CANVAS)

  • TAP - BLACK OXFORD TAP SHOES

  • JAZZ, LYRICAL AND MUSICAL THEATRE - TAN SLIP ON JAZZ SHOES

  • Broadway heels - 1.5-2 inch heeled character shoes

  • HIP HOP - CLEAN SNEAKERS

  • CONTEMPORARY/MODERN - BARE FEET

  • pointe - PINK POINTE SHOES. BRAND IS dancer’s choice, but we strongly recommend getting fitted by the professional fitters at “the dance store”
